In loving Memory of Bro. Kenneth Howell
Kenneth Clinton Howell

June 16, 1971 – February 3, 2025
Kenneth “Kenny” Clinton Howell, 53, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that he is now in the arms of God, free from pain and suffering.
Born on June 16th, 1971, in Jacksonville Florida, he was the son of Nancy Spaulding and the late Frank Spaulding. From an early age, he had a love for people and a knack for fixing things. Whether it was working as a dump truck driver and mechanic or lending a hand to a friend in need, Kenneth approached life with hard work, laughter, and a giving spirit.
Kenneth had a deep love for the simple joys of life. He never met a stranger and could bring a smile to anyone’s face with his quick wit and endless jokes. He loved going to church and worshipping his savior, witnessing to others no matter who they were, and testifying to the goodness of God in his life. If he was not at church, you could find him with his family, with friends, grilling out, spending time with his beloved dogs, fixing something (or tearing something up) or working on cars. Kenneth’s hands were always busy, whether raising them in praise, tuning up an engine, or extending them in kindness to others.
A man of strong faith, Kenneth was a devoted member of 103rd Street Church of God, where he served faithfully as an usher and greeter. His warm smile and welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home. His life was a testament to the words of 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Frank Spaulding, and his brother, Timmy Howell. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his devoted wife of 24 years, Lisa Gean Howell; his mother, Nancy Spaulding; his three children, Brandon, Trevor, and Riley; three cherished granddaughters; and a grandson who will soon arrive to carry on his love and laughter. While he deeply loved all of his children and grandchildren, he had a very special bond with his granddaughter Lylah. They were inseperable, and shared a bond that was evident to all who know them.
A public memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at 2:00PM, at 103rd Street Church of God, with his pastor and friend, Rev. Roger Bolman Jr., officiating.
Kenneth’s life was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering faith. While we will miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing that his journey continues in the presence of the Lord. His laughter will echo in our hearts, his kindness will remain in our memories, and his faith will light the path for us to follow.
